Materials on Koilemi are delivered by the supplier, or collected from the supplier where the listing offers pickup. This page explains what to expect.
Delivery fees and times
- The delivery fee for each supplier is shown at checkout, before you pay, and depends on the delivery location and the size of the order.
- Each supplier delivers separately. An order with materials from three suppliers will arrive as three deliveries, each with its own tracking page and delivery PIN.
- Suppliers should accept your order within 48 hours. Delivery times depend on the material, quantity and location. Some listings show an expected delivery period; for pre-order items, the listing shows the expected availability date.
Tracking your delivery
Every delivery has a tracking page showing when it was accepted, dispatched and on the road, with the driver’s name, phone number and vehicle details once dispatched. You will also get email updates. You can share a tracking link with your site manager or foreman.
Getting your site ready
- Give an accurate address with landmarks, and a site contact who will answer the phone on the day.
- Make sure trucks can reach the drop-off point. Tippers and trailers need firm, wide access. Tell the supplier about narrow roads, low bridges, estate gate rules or restricted hours when you order.
- Unless the listing or supplier says otherwise, offloading is the buyer’s responsibility. Arrange labourers for bagged cement, rods, blocks and roofing sheets.
- Have somewhere dry and covered ready for cement and other moisture-sensitive materials.
Receiving the delivery
- Check quantities and condition before the driver leaves, and share your delivery PIN only when you are satisfied the materials have arrived.
- If something is short or damaged, note it, take photos and report it from your order. See Returns, Refunds and Disputes.
- After delivery is confirmed, you have 7 days to report any other problem before the supplier is paid. See Escrow Protection.
Failed or delayed deliveries
- If the driver cannot reach you or the site is not accessible, the supplier will contact you to rearrange. A supplier may charge for an extra trip if the failed delivery was caused by wrong details or lack of access, and must tell you the cost before redelivering.
- If a delivery is badly delayed, contact us through Help & support. If the supplier cannot deliver, we can cancel that delivery and refund you.
Pickup
Where a listing offers pickup, the supplier will confirm when and where to collect. Bring your order reference and delivery PIN. The 7-day window starts when you collect.
